the auto tranny is a 4 speed

so why would it seem like its a 5 speed, cruising at 110km/hr and putting pressure on the gas pedal it seems like it gears down twice would that make it a 5 speed

this is what i am going to do test all of the sensors, i know how to test the oxygen senors, and the map sensors, which others should i test, and how, how do i test the ait sensor?
