Nubira fan/drive belt

I am about to replace the fan/ belt which drives the alternator,air-con, water pump, power steering... on a 1997 Nubira 2.0L CDX...is it just a simple matter of loosening the jockey pulley in order to take off the old belt ...are there any details/procedures I should be aware of when replacing the belt..thanks for any help
