anyone know what the engine name is on a 99 leganza....and what isuzu vehichles its in?

If I remember correctly, the '99 - '01 Isusu Rodeo 2.2L 4cyl has the same engine.

As for the engine name, I can not remember that. right now.

I know that in the 4cyl 2.0 leganza's its called a DTEK / T20SED

I just bought a gasket set off of ebay foe 89 bucks, the engine number on the box is nubie engine x20sed, leganza x22sed, rodeo x22se. I know on my engine it is stamped t20sed, so i think the leganza is stamped t22sed. They are the same engine , the sroke on the leganza is a bit bigger, to bring total displacement to 2.2l(2200cc). awesome.....i never got the chance to check out a nubira engine......the helps alot and will make finding parts way easier

Remember, the Nubira engine is a 2.0L and the Leganza is a 2.2L engine. They are based on the same engine, but the internal components are different sizes.

Not all parts are interchangable.
