One thing I've noticed from my lanos is that when I try to really goose it to accelerate, it actually bogs a bit...also does this on long uphills.....
Not a problem, but annoying.....as long as the accelerator is slow and easy, no bogging....
Nice car.......anyone have any ideas on this? Almost feels a bit fuel deprived when under big load, sorta like the 'dead spot' on the old carburated engines years ago....
Occasional bogging under load

Fuel pressure regulator?
Seems like it's not getting the right fuel air misture at WOT
If you crimp the return on the fuel pressure regulator and rev it and it doesnt splutter/bug it most likely is the FPR. Could be either getting too much or not enough.. Is it running lean at idle?
Not sure why it does it on long hills...
Done the plugs leads rotor arm and distrubitor cap recently?

Hey I cant even FIND the plugs...must be somewhere under that plastic cover, lol....
As I bought this car at 63K miles i replaced the timing belt.....but as I have NO maintenance records, I havent the slightest idea if it's EVER been tuned up....
Put injector cleaner in it and no bogging so far today...it seems worst between 50-60 mph under heavy acceleration.....(but hasnt done it today at all, lol)...
Will investigate further if it gets worse or if the weather here shapes up soon (unlikely since near Milwaukee, WI, USA)...
Thanks for all the info, folks!
