Exterior styling? [Not over the top]

I have a Daewoo Nexia/cielo/racer, and I'm wondering where sells some subtle, not over the top exterior mods? I'm not into any fast and the furious jobbies, Just something nice that sets the car off, like front splitters, boot spoilers [like the Astra mk3 GSI one], skirts etc.

I really have searched everywhere and any sites that look promising seem to be czech or polish, which i speak neither off.
So, are there any places that stock some of these things for the Nexias? I know Lester still do some things but they're not the prettiest.

Here's an example, I love this front splitter, been told it's a Vielside one, but I can't find it ANYWHERE. Those are Lester sideskirts and a GSI Boot spoiler.

well i have those side shirts on my GSI, i got mine from 'Erebuni Corp'. aside from that i think you are going to need a custom front and rear bumper. you could modify an MK2 kadett or astra, it will bolt right up but the grill may be a difficult fit.

The side skirts I can get, europarts can order them in as they stock lester parts, but it's that front splitter/front spoiler which is the hard part, or even something similar.
That's my friend's car, and we were concidered making a fiberglass copy by molding his one. But in all honesty I'm not too sure how too without damaging his one. The rear boot spoiler/wing he has is off a Vauxhall Astra mk3 GSI, which are easy to come across living in Ireland, and there's tons of fiberglass copies on Ebay

Sorry, forgot to mention, the grill isn't part of the bumper online the Astra GTE/ Kadett bumpers, and the nexia lights are far longer. I like the Nexia front bumper in the way that it bulges out like that, but you really need some sort of valance at the bottom coming back out to really set off the car imho. His car in the flesh looks gorgeous, the front spoiler really suits it.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, i believe everyone to their own, I just don't want anything too extreme, as it'll just be my daily driver and I'm not into overly-flashy things. I prefere the more subtle approach.

Something like those, is that the oem daewoo kit that came on the later models?

looks to be OE, not sure.

quick question, is your car with the square boot or the rounded boot? if you have a square boot, a mid wing/spoiler is a really nice look and should be easy enough to get from a scrappy.

It's the rounded boot, I know what spoiler you mean, the one that came on the Astra GTE's. They do look nice, but not on the rounded boot's in my opinion.

true, that's why i was sking, there's not a lot of options that look reall clean on the round boots.

quite, most of the hatch backs on the forum are mk2's

The gsi spoiler from a mk3 is one of the safest bets imo, It's just a pity it doesnt sit 100% flush with the boothatch as it does on the mk3's:

It's more of the front and side I'm interested in, I in all honesty just want some sort of valance that brings the bototm of the front bumper out again, because, as it sits, the bumper without it, looks like it's lacking something.. It really does complete the front end of these cars.

Can't do the front without matching the line with the side, nothing worse that half modded cars on the outside, where lines drop and raise an inch or two from the front to the side, and the side to the back. [Hope that makes sense]

Looking at the front spoiler on my friends Nexia makes me want it more and more too, can you honestly tell me it doesnt complete the front of it, especially in these 2 pictures;

Bit hard to see in the second, though.

i'm going to have to say that your best bet will be getting on ebay.co.uk and pulling a splitter or chin spoiler from there. i was just on and there are a lot of REALLy nice pieces on there i'm actually jealous from what i found.

your friends splitter wasn't model specific was it? i think retro-fitting something will be the way to go.

Yeah, it was specific for the daewoo, it fits perfectly around the curve at the bottom of the bumper. His bro used to own the car before him, and that's who bought the splitter.. It was about 10 years ago though. Chances of finding someone who stocks it are slim to none... I've been on ebay a good few times and never seen any nice ones for a Nexia, what did you search?

find out for sure what company that was maybe a ticket or a sticker on the inside, if it's really Vielside that would be very interesting, i'll even call them for you.

i just looked under 'chin spoilers' and 'front splitter' pretty generic but some decent stuff came up. with out having a Nexia here i'd say that a Civic splitter would be very close.

He said he thinks it was Vielside. I've checked already, no stamps or stickers etc anywhere, it was pretty expensive though. I remember his brother talking about how much it was and how he had to get it specially ordered in because nowhere in Northern Ireland, or Ireland for that matter stocked such parts, and that was back when the Nexia was concidered a new car.

Would you, or anyone on the forum have any idea how hard making a fiberglass copy would be?

if you can get a part number from a receipt i'll see what i can do to help.

as for the fiberglass copy, in my shop carbon fiber and fiberglass are what i specialize in and i wouldn't have made my first piece be one so difficult. if that seems to be your last option then i'll try and help with a walk through or something but wait 'til all other options are gone.

There's definatly no receipt seeing as it was purchased such a long time ago and the car has been around about 4 or so owners by now [although the splitter stayed with him/his brother]
As for a part number, I can't even find any sort of record of the plsitter existing, nevermind being Vielside.

It's kind of frustrating how untracable that thing is.

And, i had no idea that's what you did, threw it out there on a whim that you may have knew some sort of technique too it, any helps appreciated, and the amount of help/general chat you've put out there is greatly appreciated m8
