The $50 bucks did include my filter...I didn't have time to wait on shipping cause I had a hole in the rubber hose after the factory air filter. I went to Oreilly Auto parts and got one of the $45 dollar honda kits and used it along with an old 60 and 90 degree angle pieces I already had.

i made a new custom mesh grill. the old one was half assed, and i wasnt happy with it. i also painted the mesh "chrome" so it stays shiney

i also put my stereo system on a diet, its now just one 12" mtx thunder 5500, in a bandpass box on an alpine m301 amp. the speakers are powered buy the pioneer headunit

(notice that there are no visible wires)

its not nearly as loud, but it sounds soooooo much better

I think that black mesh would be better. Maybe, paint the outside of headlamps in black also...

ive planned on painting the headlights black already, just havent had the time. id also like to do led running lights. black mesh just sort of blends in, you cant really see it, the silver hides the ugly latch that runs through the center of the grill, and it sort of fills in the grill

Yeah. It could pass on silver car, but on the black lanos, chrome details are ugly... I know it from my experience...

I use 9 white LEDs per headlight for drive light...

im gonna keep the running lights in the stock position, i want to make a white led ring that will go around the stock bulb, ill cut the wire that goes to the stock running light and power the led's with it. then ill just keep the amber 1157 bulb for turn signals
