another swappable part between Daewoo and BMW

Post by MMamdouh »

you all know i have managed to swap the BOSCH injectors out of a BMW 1600 M40 engine into the 1500 and 1600 daewoo engines... now i found one more part.

the rear springs of a BMW E30 are a perfect match to the rear springs of a lanos... OK big deal, the OEM swap will do nothing for the lanos but that means that sport springs for the E30 will fit into a lanos.

again BMW stuff is not cheap but the used stuff is... yu saw i can get a set of injectors for 43.85 USD and when i asked for the price of the BMW rear springs they were some 26.30USD.

this info might be good for you guys in case you came across a totalled E30 with sport springs... i am still looking for a sport replacment for the front springs so in case you do know a BMW model that is compatable with a lanos then please share.

The crank shaft sensor of lanos 1.5 in a BMW 740 older model I think are 92. The only think change are the cable is a little shorter but can start the car and do all perfect...

seeing as some BMW parts fit into a Lanos... has anyone checked to see whether the engine mounts match up? lol
