Raced an Eclipse...

So last night a friend of mine with a 2004 auto eclipse GT wanted to race me for 20 dollars. So we wnt to the 1/4 and raced and i beat him about 4 times. what i dont understand is his car has 210hp stock and mine is way lower than that. how can i beat him???

he might not know how to "drive" but thats cool that you beat him. was this at the track or an empty street?

It was at a local track. they didnt have our times cause it was free lol. I also drove his car and he drove mine and mine still beat his fairly bad lol. Its like once it gets in higher gears it just tears past him.

either way dillons car is an auto, so for mitsu's sake i hope it was a auto, running on 3 cylinders, in reverse, with 2 bald tires, and a flat one too. lol jk

Yea it was all that stuff but still! lol JK it was and auto but it only had 17,000 miles on it. I think its just cause there soo heavy. the doors a about a foot thick not to mention the hood weighs probly 200 lb alone.

I still cant believe it...you have an auto nubira and beat a 04 eclipse gt?.....isnt the nubi's 2.0 engine almost the same as the leganza's 2.2? And the auto leganzas are slugs...I know the nubi is lighter, but how much to actually beat an eclipse.....?

I will post a video soon if i can get him to race me agian. Also my nubi isint stock. i have quite a few modifacations to the engine.

Ground wire kit, spark plugs, spark plug wires, oil catch tank, Cold/ram air intake, exhaust system, lighter rims, and a gutted trunk. there is probly alot of stuff i cant remember lol

Here in Puerto Rico beat a eclipse is easy if it not are a turbo one. Thats cars are slow.
