Lanos intake/exh valves

I was wondering if there is any other vehicle that uses valves that are compatible with the lanos. I am not ready to pay 17.21 per exh valve plus shipping ontop of all the other parts I need to fix it. Some of the prices for parts have me about ready to pull out the sawzall and the welder and see what type of custom engine swap I can do!!
