how do you install a aftermarket head unit in the leggy

im really confused. i read something about popping off the trim around it but i just dont want to go busting things off. do you just go from the side with a screwdriver. thanx for any help

You can even use your fingers instead of screwdriver. With reasonable force you can't do any harm. That plastic coer will just pop out, don't worry.
