Help - cant log into forums with regular account -error

Hi all...

For some reason I cant log into the forums anymore with my regular account (Man with no name). I can log into daewootech, but whenever I try to enter the forums, I get the following error message:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open smartBlue template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 504
File : functions.php

It has been going on for at least a week, and I emailed the admin but never got an answer, so I resorted to creating another account to be able to post here and see if I can resolve this issue. This happens both in IE and Firefox... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

did you try to change the apperance of the forum? if so thats what it is, numerous people have messed their accounts up doing that.

Yep, I did. I wanted to see how my template would look like in ''Smart Blue'' ...and now its dead.

So is that it? theres no solution??? If thats so then whoever's in charge should correct the bug or remove the option to change the template altogether....it sucks losing your account over a template...and its like a trap, waiting for unsuspecting users to click on it.

Ummm.... you didn't email me..... and last time I checked I was one of two Administrators of this site ( sure my name says SuperModerator..... but I have access to the Admin panel ).

Try logging in now.... I changed your profile so that it was back on "aphrodite" which seems to be the regular template.

I don't know why the other templates don't work... didn't realize there was a problem... perhaps Efrain might have an idea.

Thanks Chris...I think it works now. You're right, I didnt email you. I contacted Efrain through the ''Contact Us'' link in the main page but I dont know if he even got my message. Maybe you should post a sticky with a warning so that no one else is tempted to change their templates...they have such cool sounding names

, at least until the problem gets fixed.

hi, yes you sent an email on saturday,

tonight i checked them i saw yours but also saw this thread.

i deleted the old styles so no one can get that wrong again.
