You guys are gonna be pissed!!
I bought a car.
Its starts with a H and ends in a A.
Civic:(
Sorry guys!! Dont hold it against me. I still love my woo and i am keeping it. Not going to be a daily driver. I would love to do a swap soon. I need to pay on the Civic for a while and then i will jump back on the woo. Once again, sorry guys.

Dude, civics are great cars. Reliable and good on gas, and hold their value better than other cars that depreciate faster. Why the heck should you apologize for buying one?
Now, if you take a civic and make this
http://videos.streetfire.net/hottestvid ... e359c1.htm
then you should apologize....

I saw you were gonna race the woo though?....hmmmm....honda for everyday driver and woo to kill hondas with. lol
From a car nut's perspective:
It really doesn't matter what kind of car you drive...for me a car is an extension of myself so if I like a car and it seems to fit me I don't care what brand it is or what people say...it's my car and I like it. The one's who say you can only drive a Honda or this brand sucks or that brand sucks are stupid...in my opinion the brand of the car doesn't matter what matters is that I feel comfortable and feel like the car becomes part of me when I drive...so that my motions and what I want the car to do become one.
Of course if the car's purpose is solely transporting me to work and back or my family places...dependability would be a big concern.
Congratulations on the new car!

My every day driver vehicles have been Honda Preludes, Acura 3.5RL, Mazdaspeed3 ..... there is nothing wrong with owning a Honda or any other car as a daily driver.
To me the Daewoo/Opel stuff has allways been about working on a car that has no name.
Take the Pontiac Lemans.... most people think they are $200 junkers.... I guarantee you the only people who would know about their real heritige would be people who moved here from the UK or Europe (recognizing it as an Astra MKII)
The lanos is another one.... when I tell people that the chassis is just an updated astra MKII with newer Opel engines and transmissions people are like " are you serious?? wow I had no idea "
To me that's half the fun.... showing up with a car like the Lemans or Lanos and other guys just stare and say "what the hell is that thing?"
Anyways........ I'm glad to hear your going to keep your Lanos.

The last time I had a Honda car was back in 1975. It was good to me.
Have had three Honda motorcycles over the years. My latest is a 01 Shadow (cruiser) I bought it used.
The guy that had it before me de-badged it. Most think it's Harley. When I tell em its a Honda they are surprised.
I think it's better than a Harley because it's twice the bike at half the price.
Honda bikes and cars are well built and built to last.
I also think a Daewoo is as good as a Honda but requires a little more TLC.
Bottom line ?
"It's all good" !

nothing wrong with hondoh skivics. lol
nah, i do like civics. v-tec or not... great reliability, or something.
since honda's invention of the v-tak, sorry v-tec they have sold more than 15 million units without a single reported failure. i'd say thats impressive.

alright UPDATE!!!!!
The dealer is screwing me around on the car.
I was looking at an 03 with 75k on the clock. It was $13,000. I couldnt afford the payment on that car. They put me in a 01 Civic that i could afford.
http://gillmanauto.com/site/UsedVehicle ... ort%20Bend
The payment was alot more than i wanted to spend. It is a car that i wanted and i am willing to sacrifice a bit more for that car.
I gave him a down payment of $750 and we made a deal. A storm blew in and "knocked out the computers" so we drove off in the car. They said we could come back and sign paperwork on Monday. Everything was fine. We were so happy with the car and we told everybody.
I called the dealer back on Monday and asked if they had the paperwork drawn up and they seemed kinda "iffy". They said they couldnt sell me the car for some unknown reason. They wanted me to bring another $1k cash for another down payment.
The guy was telling me that they could sell me the original civic that i was looking at (the one with the high milage).
Now something doesnt sound right. I couldnt afford the high milage civic so they put me in a cheaper car. Now they are telling me that they can sell me the high milage one for what i want to spend.
Any of you guys ever sold cars before??
If you have you need to get a peice of rope. Make a noose. Kill yourself for making my life as difficult as you possibly can.
