daewoomofo's silver 2001 Lanos Sedan S+ (now lowered)

Post by daewoomofo »

since i have the new silver woo on the road i figured id let you all see her
she is a 2001 lanos s, 1.6 automatic. i dropped in the 1.6 from my red woo cause this one had a broken timing belt. there are 15" chrome wheels on her with toyo proxies, ill prolly have to put my 14" wheels on her soon as these tires are in bad shape. but she has tinted rear windows, a large power moon roof. for right now the stereo is just a jvc cd player with stock front speakers, and polk audio 5x7's in the rear. the only mod that i have done since i got her is installing a remote start and alarm system, from codealarm

Image
(thats where most of my work went into so far)

future plans for her are to clean up the sport bumper on the red woo, and the oiricari side skirts and put them on, i want to paint the door handles the same as the body, ill install my eibach 1.2" loweing springs, and id like to get some 16"wheels one day. im gonna put the power windows and stereo in soon, now that i have the alarm system. well lemme know what you guys think of her

Very nice car, cool and clean.

However, did any Lanos come stock with a plastic intake manifold? I was looking at the engine pic and saw it. I really don't know If I've ever seen one with a plastic manifold.

But keep up the good work!

you got it correct, i did paint it black, if at a later date i deside that i dont like it, i have 2 more that i can mess around with, so its not a huge deal. but i think the black looks nice. thanks for all of your nice comments!

the black intake manifold does look nice... makes it look stealthy. i like it!

could be a fun project for mine, but maybe another colour... add some sparkle to the engine bay. lol

well due to a huge piece of metal tearing a hole in one of my tires, i had to put the old 14" aluminum wheels on, the tires on them are like brand new so its all good. heres a pic
Image
its all good though, i wasnt really a fan of the chrome wheels, and they didnthave the centering hub rings so that is why my steering wheel shook on the freeway.

Nice looking stereo system. The thunder series subs are definately loud.

And who needs trunk space anyway? I've only had trunk space for a max of six months since I turned 16 lol
