chances of bending rims??

hey guys,
i just purchased a set of 17" chrome rims for my lanos hatchback 2000 model....
i read somewhere it is easy to bend rims.....is this true??

ive got 17" chrome rims, 205/40/r17 low profile tyres and my car hasnt been lowered at all

wat r the chances of bending these rims??

if you hit a hole in a road or go over an uneven surface quickly the wheels will bend and get flat spots very easily. My wheels have lots of flat spots too. You just have to take it steady

Avoid pot holes and you should be right.

That said i am VERY careful and i still buckled one in my travels... you can repair them.

I always here on the forums its damn easy...but my wheel/tire contact has told me otherwise. Even though I've managed to bend 3 wheels now with my softer suspension. He said they'll crack easy...but should never bend and that my wheels were probably bent from factory.

The cheeper the rims the easier they bend...

Damn i must have super wheels then, i have 17" Motegi DP12's and ive hit countless potholes, big ones that bottom out the suspension and it bangs so hard you think the car will break, quite frankly im amazed the struts are still in 1 piece lol, the rims are perfectly fine too

my rims were like $1500 dollars...does that make them not cheap...i sure think so
