2000 Nubira Camshaft Position Sensor Recall?
I typed in my vin number on the Daewoo web site and ti says I have a recall I my camshaft poistion sensor. Sometimes my check engine light does come on and I read the code and that is what it says the problem is. It doesn't come on all the time. Sometimes I can be driving with it on and it will kick off. I have checked all my conenctions and they are great. I called the closest daewoo service center and they told me it may or may not be a recall on my car even though my vin number says it should be. They told me it would be $350 If it wasn't under recall. They said they have to pull it off and check the numbers on the back to know and if they just do that it will be like $140. I don't know what to do.

I had this done on my 1999 Daewoo CDX wagon. They sent me a letter and replaced it for free. If your VIN number says it should be replaced (it is a fire hazard!) then MAKE them replace it or get the government agency involved. Don't pay them any $$.azazel_18_2 wrote:I typed in my vin number on the Daewoo web site and ti says I have a recall I my camshaft poistion sensor.
