i have some 15" mr2 rims on my daewoo and wanting to get some 17" and was wondering what off set i should get? when i first put on the mr2 rims i had to install some wheel spacers because the rim rubed on the caliper. and will 17 be ok? i wont have to do any modifying to the fender?

OEM tires: 185/60-14 (578x185mm). Bolt pattern: 4x100. Offset: 30 to 40 mm. Tires up to 598x205mm. Rims up to 17x7.5".

Considering fact the stock offset is 49mm, you should be looking into getting some rims with ideally 45 offset, or at least 40.
