Do a search...I've seen this post lots.

Also rolling the fenders isnt too bad....I actually think its easyier to cut them out if you have the tools or know someone that does. Plus you lose a pound...I know its just a pound but look at race cars, they lose 100lbs on random things like that.

18 arent any bigger than 17s if you get the right tire size....which would be a 35series sidewall for 18s

18 are too big for lanos. Max size 17 with 205/40/17 tires// no bigger. Better size 16" but top 17. 18"is big for nubira also, leganza can handle them.

I agree there too big, killing performance and usually looks even (to me). But they will fit with 205/35/18 tires which are only .2" bigger than the 205/40/17s

Some lanos in the world have 18'' but is to $$$ in tires, and affect the acceleration of the car.

Ohh I see, yeah. Lol.

I think 205/45/17 on a nubis too big though. I know on my forenza a 205/40/17 is still bigger than stock because the 40 is the % of the width.

18's now fitted

Post by wolfhound »

Hi guys

Just as a follow on to this one, I took my 7x17" TSW Freeze off the Lanos this weekend and fitted a new set of TSW Tribes with Pirelli 215/35*18 P Zero Neros.

AND they have the right offset so they won't catch on the fenders or arches the same way the 17's did.

They shouldn't effect the acceleration as the Boost takes care of that
