1.6 dohc how to identify the intake and exhaust cam?

Hi, sons took engine apart while I was at work...

I just want to make sure the cams go back in the right way...
how do you tell them apart, sons said they know which is which,
BUT I just want to make sure...

Hi,

Since reference for 1.6DOHC is identical for exhaust and intake camshafts (A96182606), trust sons. ;) .

And doesn't the outside gear face of each show an "I" or a "E" ?

I forgot, maybe I am thinking of my motorcycle ?

You are right!
Altought camshafts seems identical (same ref) the camgears looks different with intake ref #96182888 and exhaust ref #96184322.
Anyway after everything is in place turn crankshaft by hand for two full turns berfore starting engine.
