I guess the 2.0 Nubira engine is a lot different than the 1.6 lanos ?
The 1.6 has the pick-up tube in the crankcase but the oil-pump itself is on the front (lower-right corner, facing) of the engine and under the rear timing belt cover)
On the lanos ? you have to remove the front t-belt cover, power steering pump, the timing belt, rear t-belt cover, the oil-pan and the oil pressure switch connector also the crankshaft position sensor than you can actually remove the oil pump.
Hope you don't have to do all this on your engine?

An electric oil pressure gauge would be the easiest. A quality one would be very accurate.
But you could do a mechanical one if you can find an oil galley on the outside of the block with a plug in it. Than with some fittings? You could do it.

i may be wrong, ive never done a oil pump on a woo. if i am wrong, sorry (and thank you for correcting me) its just that every engine ive been in its been inside the oil pan. it wouldnt suprise me if daewoo did it different on the 1.6. either way good luck on the oil pressure guage.

im used to small block chevy's, and such which has the pump inside the pan. i grew up with a old skool dad that rebuilt s/b's in the garage. thats how i got into cars and performance
