EVO BONNET SCOOP

Quick Question i bought a evo bonnet scoop like the pic below now how do i cut the inserts in the bonnet and how do i make the scoop look like part of the bonnet as if the bonnets was made with the scoop,

from what it looks like he cut a hole the size of the scoop of course but didn't cut through the support beams. then just molded it all in. the scoop isn't sunk in like actual evos but still nice lookin. if you wanna a rough pictorial you can look at the way i did my scoop. different style scoop but same basic concept. heres the link.

Thanks man, i need to do this now before i get the full respray done least ill have it done for the spray painters.

I did the cutouts ready so when it goes to the painters ill get them to put the scoop on as they have to sand all the car back they can do it while its there ive taken some pics of the cut out.

jus out of interest what colour are you getting your car resprayed??? im thinkin bout gettin my car resprayed in a candy blue....but im not sure how much....does anyone have any clues as to how much a total respray would cost in australia roughly???

The car is getting the same blue but getting a silver holographic flakes through it pic below of holographic the price for the full repsray and fit bonnet scoop and fix dents $3.500.

sounds/looks mad esp the bonnet scoop...loving it ....im so wanting a respray of my car mayeb not a full respray though...my car is that maroon colour and i wouldn mind jus getting a pearl coat over the top...jus gotta find prices

Its called a overlay wouldnt cost that much i dont think lot of people are doing the flip flop paint flackes overlay looks good ill show pics once my car is done.

Thanks man the cut out i did with a grinder belive it or not but took my time and a steady hand the finsh was awesome now the scoop is on looks even better just waiting on the respray and ill have more pics.
