Dose anyone know how to hook up an oil pressure gauge? I really need the help cause i dont have any clue where to hook it up too. Any help would be great!
i have a pack of ends for it so im sure i have the right size but will i have to drill into the block or is their already a place. I dont feel to comfortable drilling i would rather have a professional do it.
There is a number of existing places in the block you could use for the oil feed, but they are all 14X1.5mm - hence my question for the size of your sender.
The adapter is 9.53mm but i can buy new adapters from a hardware store or somthing. Where can i hook the adapter into and how do i do it. Or in your opinion should i have a pro do it?
You should install a T-connector where the oil pressure switch screws into the block. Then you install the factory oil pressure switch to the one end of it, and the oil pressure feed to the mechanical oil pressure gauge to the other end of a T-connector. Then you just have to route the oil feed to the inside of the cabin and connect it to the gauge.
This is what i found when i searched the fourm... Can i do this , it dosent seem like it would give accurate pressure.
under your other post "can't find oil pump," i posted a pic of the oil pump and the holes to pull from. in the picture i have already pulled the plugs that come from the factory.
sounds easy enough but it's a pritty tight fit. when you go to do it, take your time and have patients. make sure you have all the fittings you'll need cause running to the parts store all day can kill fun.
