got $

Post by zerosilence »

ok i sold my elcamino this weekend i sold it for $10,000 :D . and i was going to go with what acingteam said and spend like 3k on the car. the question is what are some websites that i can get performance parts. what i am gonna try to do is do some bolt ons performance parts maybe get some internals done with the whole valvetrain. maybe forced induction and some trannie upgrades. i dont think three thousand would cover all that but i can get a bite at it. thanks for your help.
i should probably try to fix that oil problem while im at it.

Perhaps you should look at the C20GET engine in the classifieds..... just a thought..... it would make your car a ton of fun.

if its your daily driver doing a motor swap isnt always the best idea.. your looking at days or even weeks of down time.. unless your doing a same spec swap but anything is doable

what do you drive??

Zero,

Right ! We are in California the state with the strictest smog regulations ?

Before you spend money on a swap ? check with a local reputable smog shop or even DMV.
You may not be able to get your car passed smog inspection if you have a engine in it that does not correspond for your year car.
Just a thought.

ill tell you right now.. dont have to go check with smog place.. you wont pass.. the only thing that will pass smog is motor replacement of original.. and it even has to go through strict test and inspection
