the thing with bimmers is that the chasis - or shapes if yo will - ar marked with E## whereas the engines are marked M##
and in my case i used the M40 injectors that came up with the E30.

the older E30 came with a caburated engine and only the newer versions came with the fuel injected engine - M40 - and so we here call that version of the E30 an M40 to make a differenciation... i guess everywere else they call that version E30 uplifted or so.

Will this be good ??

it says they were also used in ford police cars??
well... i am not sure of the fitment but it seems those injectors are a much jigher rate than the daewoo ones... i have used the 15 lb/hr ones on the 1.5 SOHC and 1.6 DOHC and it is worrking fine... i recon 19 lb/hr is way bigger and might cause idling issues.

@ slammed:

in the link i posted earlier they say it is hard to recondition that type of injector you posted on ebay, it is mentioned on ebay that this set is reconditioned so i guess it is not going to be a good set anyways.

I emailed them asking if they will ship to canada and that web site is funny as hell, it has floating injectors with a lady with a nice body waving her legs around holding a book. When you contact them you get a thank you page with a girl hugging a guy as a pic, very friendly website. It all came together when i saw, created by lava.

MMamdouh, do u think i should get injectors with a larger C.C., as long as the flow in my 1.6L is a bit more than normal 1.6L nubiras, as i got a cold air intake and about to get a custom stainless intake air with a larger intake gate, and headers with a 2" exhaust tube and one rear Jasma muffler. and if u agree with me that i should install more-flow injectors, how much u think the new injectors capicity be??

stick with the curent flow injectors... bigger injectors are only needed in forced induction applications.

Ok, been reading this a bit. When I get my turbo running which injector could I use (if you know)? I'm gonna be running about 10 psi on street tune and maybe 15 or 20 at the track (forged pistons and rods). I was also thinking of trying to make some honda injectors work since I will obviously be using an aftermarket system to control my fuel.

Thanks

guys put the 2.0 injectors on their lanoses when they go with a turbo option... as far as flow rates are concerned that will be equavlent to the injectors of a 3.0/3.5 6cyl. BMW engine.

for 15 to 20 PSI i don't know what will be sutable as the 4.0/4.5 and 5.0 BMW engines are V8 and V12 so i got no idea what will be sutable for your situation.

i recon since the flow difference between the 1.5 and 1.6 is too small then the injectors from the 3.5 will be good.

THX MMamdouh, sorry for replying later as i wasnt here for a couple of days, and by the way the 2.0 Leganza injectors are really bad when they are used in turboed 1.6 engines, not cause of the flow, but because they damage so fast (at least here in Egypt as we have GM injectors in our daewoo cars) and they damage faster and faster when u have a fuel regulator. I think if they were bosch or other better brand they will be fine.

here in Egypt we dont order through the internet that much like other countries, its easier to go to the yard and to the dealers to look for the part u want, thats much better and faster and easier to everyone live here, MM did that.
