BTW remember that silicone stuff is not compatible with petrol/gasoline/fuel or the like. It can double in volume and become very soft.

Daniel
your concern here is spills of oil/fuel and stuff like that??

>Right.

i just did the same swap on a 1.6 DOHC nubira and the feedback is as great as i expected, startups are in a blink of an eye, fuel consumption is way better and acceleration is better... i am very proud of myself.

current fuel consumption is 1 liter for 10.4 kms... that will be equavlent to some 24.37 mile per gallon when the car is driven gently,

MMamdouh
But that would mean there are only 2.3 liters per gallon. I don't get it.

ummm... a gallon is some 3.75 liters... right? and a mile is 1.6 kms... right?

and 1 liter per 10.4 km is my current consumption rate

so 3.75 liters covers 39.00 kms
so 1.00 gallon covers 39.00 kms
so 1.00 gallon covers 24.37 miles

Oh yeah, kms. it was late when I posted that. You're taking advantage of half-asleep people with kms instead of miles :)

for my knowledge, M40 and M30 are the same exactly just the only difference between them is the model years, M30 are the older, its from 1983 till 1987 i think then comes the M40 untill 1991

where

Post by woodae »

where is the best place to get these, they run 148 a piece and thats expensive for me, so i can use the ones from a m30 too, whats the best ones to use them from. I get horrible gas mileage and I really need power, but i think i have to get my evap system running right and my car misfires in high revs. i just got new plugs and a coil and wires. I think one of plug wires is loose. but these injectors would be cool!
