Yes I know it's first April .
But has somebody already tried this? When a catalytic converter become blocked, instead of broken/removing internal ceramic filter will it work if installed backward? I mean revert it so intake become exhaust. Does this will flush it?
I guess you dont have "clean-air smog tests" in your country?
It's mandatory here in California USA, we must have a functioning catalitc converter.
I bet you can smoke in resturants as well ?

Once the catalytic converter is clogged, it usually means each cell is pernamently clogged most of the time. Since the catalyst has already lost its ability to retain heat, it also has lost its ability to self clean and loosen itself from carbon build-ups. Even if the cat is entire clogged, it would get to the point that your engine runs with excessive back pressure and still does not have enough pressure to push the crap out even in reversed direction
Your best bet it so try a professional "engine/EFI system cleaner" like Terraclean here we have in North America. Usually it shoots a cleaning agent and forces a lot of built-ups and crap out of O2 sensors, cats, etc.. I've always wondered if reversing the direction of the catalytic converter + Terraclean would help unclog them
