The front guards will need to be roled slightly as well, the only scrub you get is going up a kirb or driveway faster than normal. the rear need to be roles and a few metal parts cut out of the rear.
the front of garud needs to be either roled or cut, mine was the sport so i had to cut the side skirt neatly for it all to work nice. I also extended my bump stop an inch.
once that was done, the only drama on 18 was the harsh ride.
Dude i think theal rub man best thing would be to get a body shop to roll the arches then 17 deffo wont rub ! and youl still be able to get full lock on the stearing i duno might be ok enyway .

pedders ride better than the kings- kings are much stiffer. but rolling your gaurds should give you enough clearance.
role the front half of the gaurd especially.
the fronts arent a problem are they?

The fronts are right its the back that is giving me the shits i had the guards rolled and still does it as 43som said i need some metal bits cut on the inside bumber cuz thats where it rubs so 43som you will do that for me any places you recommened.
