The top of the front bumper of my 2001 Lanos Sport is totally oxidized and looks like crap. Rather than taking it in to a shop to get it painted, I'd rather do it myself, save some money, and make it look as good as possible.
Don't worry, I'm not risking my pretty bumper to a rattle can, I'm going to be purchasing base and clear coat off of http://www.automotivetouchup.com thats used for spraying in professional HVLP Spray guns. I have a high-flow compressor and a set of various HVLP guns (wealthy friends rule) to use.
So, question. What size of can should I get. Will a pint be enough to respray a bumper, or will I have to go for the quart? Also, is there anywhere cheaper to get Daewoo paint, as Automotivetouchup has the quart running for $74.95.
Thanks!

you should be fine with a pint if you buy a 2 to 1 paint. i think its 2 to 1. i forget been a while since i bought paint. but basically if you buy say the quart you'll create 2 quarts of paint after you put in the activator. i bought a gallons worth of everything and used only half the paint. so i'd say for a bumper a pint will be fine.
as for the price i think i paid like $400 for clear and paint with activator and that was after like a 15% discount and that was Nason paint made by Dupont.
so if $74.95 was just for the paint and didn't include the clear coat then just go to Oreilly's and get it there. hell if you can say you're in a votech type of class and they don't ask too many question you should be able to get the discount too.
