Installing Jetspeed front bar and Evo Sideskirts.

Post by chris2511 »

Well, i think the time has come to put my kit on, how exactly do i get it all on? I'm pretty sure I will be ok with the front bar, since im just basically replacing the old one, but with the sides, don't you need rails or something? Any help would be great!

Thanks.

the way i put on my evo skirts was with rivets. there will be three indention on the bottom of it to show where you need to drill a small hole for a rivet to be place there or you can probably just use screws too. then i put two rivets, or screw if you want, on both sides in the wheel wells. mine were a tight fit so i had to kinda pry the skirts on to a point. pretty straight forward.

Try Yellowpages, they have some good listings there.

oh. well sideskirts are too easy to pay someone in my opinion. especially the evo ones since they marked where to drill or screw. its just fitting it up and screwing or riveting.

Okkkkk, well spray painting is just a bit harder than installing a kit John, lol, specially if you want your whole car done properly, but anyway, I got the front bar off, and put the new one on, fitted great, it's Woo247's old one, the nice jetspeed one. :) Tomorrow, via Nicks advice, (thanks btw :) ) I will try to put the side skirts on, should look good. :)

The side skirts should have fibreglass strips/rails that the side skirt sit on.

So without the rails, can you still put them on?

Anything is possible!

You'll just need a new way to secure it to the side of the car...

Liquid nails? :D
