Power antenna

Post by Spider »

The Lanos radio power antenna,

Anyone have one ?
If so, does it come up when you turn on the key ? Or do you have a button on the radio for it ?
What activates it ?

Ignition on=antenna up ?
Ignition off=antenna down?

Thanks

I don't have one but normally the power antenna is controlled by the radio. When the radio power is ON the antenna is extended. When radio power is OFF or ignition switch OFF the antenna is retracted.

Yes I have one :)

Mine has power, ground, and an ignition cable which I attached to the back of my stereo the "accessory/remote/antenna" line. If you don't have one of those you can wire it to the ignition line behind your stereo. Either one will make the aerial go up or down when the stereo is turned on or off (antenna line), or when they ignition is on or off (ignition line).
