That B&M shifter will work but it's very expensive.

There are other Vauxhall shift kits that will work as well.... since your Lanos is an Astra MKII with a new body.

I would suggest leaving your shifter alone and get a replacement mechanical quick shift kit.

V-tuning makes one.... here is the link http://www.v-tuning.com/quickshifts.htm

It's quite a bit cheaper at 50 GBP and it works decently ( I have one on my Passport Optima aka Pontiac Lemans aka Astra MKII )

Oh..... your tranny is a D16... which is simply an F16 (very common Vaux gearbox) with a hydraulic clutch throwout as opposed to the cable system the F16 had.

He was smoking crack...... the Astra MKII shifters ( such as the one in my Lemans... which is the exact same chassis as an Astra MKII 16V ) fit into the Lanos.... which fits into the Optra and pretty much every other Daewoo based vehicle.

Most companies are skeptical about cross compatibility..... I ended up having several conversations with Quaife USA's technical department about the issue.

At first they said it wouldn't fit the Daewoo vehicles.... then I explained to them about how the Lanos is just an Astra MKII and gave them a whole "history"

This was the first they had heard of it..... about a year before Boshart motorsports was talking with them.
