I modified my gear lifter today and made it short i have before and after pics tell me what you think.

I got a chrome gear surround coming for it will make little more attractive.pic below of what it will look like.

Mine's about the same height. If you're not holding it properly, you will jam your fingers... I'm sure you've done it by now. I'm so used to mine, so it's not a problem... and yes, it's way better than stock, though the throw could still be a lot shorter.

Actully i did it yesterday for the first time hurt like hell but its worth it thats for sure.
