The dyno just called me and said the fuel pump needs to be changed its not allowing enough fuel through he said the lanos fuel pumps 1.2 litres at 200KPA
so i have to get one that runs 2.4 litres at 200kpa so basically need a performance intank fuel pump has anyone done this if so what pump was used.

I had the same problem when I turbo'd the 16v Lanos.

Was told to use a Volvo intank fuel pump, but ended up taking the current setup to a local fuel pump specialst who installed one with basically twice the capacity inside the old plastic intank assembly. Cost me R680 which is about $100 US.

Fuel pressure was set at 2 bar (if memory serves)

Car is still a bit thirsty though as i am getting 11.5 litres per 100km. Once new pistons have arrived it will have to re-tuned again.

what boost are you running ?

What compression ratio are you running? Std Pistons ???

Let us know what power it pushes out.

Hey good luck with the project,

I put in the 2l nubira injectors to compensate for more fuel i didnt realize i had to change the pump aswell i suppose these things have to be done this mechanic has worked on alot of turbos so he knows what hes talking about, once i get it all tuned ill give you some specs. Ireally enjoyed doing this project i learnt alot from doing it.
