if anyone wants power windows, its VERY easy, dont be afraid to do it, if you can connect wires you can do it

Ive tried that, but the woo windows only have one lifter, where other cars like toyotas etc have 2 lifters, so thats why my power windows had trouble going up/down, does your doors have 2 or 1 lifters?

you can also spray dry silicone on the rubber tracks and they will go smoother

I tried to upgrade mine today, I had got the parts cheaply at a local scrapyard. It was from a 5 door lanos and mine is a 3 door. They are different sizes which I wasn't aware of before :( I tried fitting them today but because the motor won't sit where it's meant to the glass rubs on it.

I'll have to find the right parts now which is going to be hell :(

Anyone in UK want some electric window parts for a 5 door lanos? lol

Huzzah someone has done it already... pity the model is wrong.

I just put 6" speakers in my doors (came up a treat, cut out the door panels, etc) but now my manual window crank hits the speaker cover and cant be wound...

Soi figured its time for power windows.

Daewoo 1.5i... what can be done with it seeing as there are no real specific parts around these days... are lanos power window regulators compatible, etc, etc...

basically, What will make em go up/down with a button.

Hey all, just did the round trip of some wreckers here in Brissy and i found a few things out.

The Daewoo 1.5i has the same doors as the Cielo and Very early model Lanos's.

So with that in mind i went looking and found a few power window regulators, wires, etc..

$137.5 Each for Just the mechanism, no wires no switches. at 3 different places...

I might try ebay :P

edit:

found this site.
