My car is sputtering.?.?.?

Post by Dillon »

My car started to sputter tonite and idk why. When i started it it cranked funny, then when i gave it gas it it reved and started to sputter. Also my car has a more high pitch sound to the exhaust note now, kinda like a honda.

Dose anyone know wat could be wrong?

Is it possible that the pipe or cat could have been punctured, i looked but couldent really see anything.

Thanks

I had my 2000 Lanos checked at auto zone. one time the check light was on the other time it was not on. It is supposed to store the codes. mine did. hope this helps.

On a guess... I'm going to say you need new spark plug wires... BUT...

Take it to an autozone and have them hook it up to the OBDII computer... They will do it for free. If they say they can't scan it, tell them that it is "ODB 2"

Either way... like everyone else said... get the code.
