Leganza 2.2
While looking at my new motor I tried to take off the oil cap. It wouldn't come so I "persuaded" it with a cresent wrench. In doing so, I managed to break off a couple of pieces of the threaded part of where it screws on. At least one chunk fell into the tappet cover. I retrieved it but am concerned that other parts are in there.
I looked at the old motor, (broken timing belt), and noticed it too had those spots broken.
Do I need to remove the cam (tappet) cover?
