You need to be more specific, what's the problem you have?

my car when driven, takes off in first and when it shifts in second it bogs out to an almost stall point, my car is an automatic, it only does this when its first started and driven. and it only does it once.

Haha, this is supposed to be a reply to his other thread...

As for the code and the problem...

The evaporation system on the daewoo is used to control emissions and recover gasoline that evaoprates out of the fuel system. If the valve is stuck on it, then the gas is venting to the atmosphere. This si why you're bogging down, lowsing mileage, and throwing a code.

I honestly have no idea where the valve is on the 1.5L but you could figure it out using the service manuals.

It may be as simple as a DIY change, but it may be hard enough for a mechanic to do it.

Hi,

Error code P0449 is not relative to EGR valve as previously said. It is relative to Evaporative Valve. Look http://rapidshare.com/files/9555477/P0449.pdf again.
I'll try to find some pictures showing where the evap valve is located on your vehicle and post'em. Pls be patient.

Hi,

Here are some pics from several places in this forum.
http://rapidshare.com/files/10621833/Lanos.zip.html .
You can see what a EGR valve (item 6) looks like.
You can see where the CCP sould be. I think that's this one
give you P0449. But I can be wrong too.
These are general info maybe not exactly for your car.

Ah! You had a ECU secret cooling system. Take care as dihydrogen monoxide can be lethal  http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html .
Joke OFF. BTW try to dry it before buying another one. In a previous life as service biotechnician I often soap/water cleaned electronic printed circuits. The trick is to perfectly dry'em before use. Patients are still alive.

Good luck,
