cel code p0741

Post by daewoomofo »

my car is a 2001 lanos sedan 1.6 with 4 speed automatic transmission. the tranny was replaced under warrany at about 25k miles. it currantly have 54k miles on the car. my cel (check engine light) came on and it was a code P0741. the scanner also said " torque converter CKT perfromance or stuck off". i have done a trany flush about 15k miles ago. i have the "autotrans interceptor" (electronic shift kit, that you can adjust line pressure for firmer shifts) the car runs good, it shifts ok. the light will go out for a while and then come back on later. does any one have any idea what the problem is or how to fix it? thank you in advance

did you try removing the "autotrans interceptor" and see if things work out fine??

i see the mechanical side is working OK so this seems to be some electronic thingy.

maybe that was the time needed for the ECU to make sure the problem is gone after removing the fast shift kit thingy.
