RPM in my car

hello guys,
now i have the opel kadett (for 1.6ohc) Rpm installed in my racer.its running but not 100%
when i accelerate,the rpm dont work directly and at high speed it marks 5 not at the finish 7.
what is my problem?i need ur knowledge.

are you sure of the signal feed you hooked up your tach to? also the rev limit should be 6500 not 7000 as far as i know.

i tought that the 1.6 engine rev limit was 6000? but neways your feed seems lose or incorrect \, i would try to recheck and make sure that it is the right w9re.

its the 1.3 sohc that has a rev-limit near 6000/6200 rpm. the 1.6 is at 6500 rpm.

the rev limit is at 6500 RPM on the 1.5 SOHC, 1.6 DOHC and 2.0 DOHC.
