Brakes locked up?

Ok so yester day my check engine light was on so i was planing on gettin it cheacked out today.... but i get in my car and the light is off. i i drive it up the street and i hear a noise coming from the back twho tires and it sounds like the brakes are stuck in or somthing. Also there is an awfule ratteling coming from the front tires. Wat could these things mean (mostly the noise coming from the back tires)?

their is nothing at the back tires but the braking mechanism... i say take off the drum and check whats going on behind it, also check for warn/broken bearings.

on my car i have 4 disk brakes. But i took them off and took a look and nothing at all seems to be the problem. But when i press the brake it locks up for a while ( like an hour or so) I tried bleeding the brakes and changing the pads but it still dose it. i guess ill have to live with it till my wheel falls off....

sticky brakes means stuck calipers... try to clean them and make sure they are moving freely... also check the upper and benz of each caliper and make sure it is greased and moves freely.
