2000 lanos 1.6
my old lower timeing belt cover broke into 3 pieces when the timing failed last time.
I still can install it because every piece has a bolt
but it generate lots of noise when the car is runing.
I bought a new lower timing belt cover, but when I install it, I met some trouble
when I put it on, the new cover distort a little bit(put it after the power steering pump pulley), so the two upper bolt hole do not point to the hole in the clyinder head.
I just can not put the two bolt in.
what can I do??
now I just tighten one bolt on the upper timint belt cover
lower timingbelt cover distort a little bit, what can i do???

as far as i remeber their is some kinda short block and tall block for the 1.6... i guess you got the wrong cover for your engine.
