Ok, second post to the forum.
I have acquired a T20SED engine, 4T40E trans, wiring harness, and PCM from a 2000 Leganza. The plan is to use the engine with forced induction in my 1989 Pontiac Sunbird. The timing belt is a Gates, so has likely been replaced, but is currently loose. I expect that the valves are bent hence the good deal on the engine.
I'm going to do plenty more searching, but my first question has to do with the PCM. This is definitely a GM unit, probably no surprise to most of you. Is there any software out there for workign with this pcm? It really has some awesome functionality from trans control to sequential injection to separate ignition coils. Does anyone know if this pcm is closely related to any units used in GM vehicles? I plan to use the turbo Sunbird ECM for this engine, but it might be neat to play around with this one.
I'm also interested in any good articles on engine buildups, whether they're for 'Woo engines or for any of the cousins. Does anyone have a favorite they'd like to post a link to or mention the name of the book where it can be found? Stuff like PontiacJeff's Frankencar is really a blast to read through. And Steph's tech is always intriguing. Any others I should know about?
TIA
More parts brings more questions.

Anyone know anything about these cams?
ThanksThe 268 cams lift 9.6mm on the intake and 9.1mm on the exhaust are despite the longer duration does not have a lumpy idle. The GM 268s were a special set exclusive to our Monza (Belmont) CD16V (where "CD" stands for "Cosworth Developed").
At the time Delta SA (who are responsible for all Opel/Vauxhall products in SA) wanted a sporty mid-sized excecutive saloon to pitch against the Golf/Jetta Mk2 GTi 16V derivatives so they asked Cosworth for some of those Coscast head and GM for some reprofiled cams.
I don't think you guys will have these cams but we all use them here for turbo applications. Cos' they work so well.
As far im aware they're Shrick Cams.
there was a C20XE pumping about 170 hp from factory. but these where not found the Monza (4 door kadett) they came on the SuperBoss (SA Opel Kadett E GSI) the superboss engine was a homologation for a Group A engine.

Thank you!
Found a Schrick cams book and found some cams with similar duration but more lift.
