Spark Plug & Ignition Wire Question For A Lanos 1.6L DOH

Arright, so I'm going to be performing a basic tune-up... Already got the brake pads changed, oil/filter, air filter (I can't afford a performance intake yet). I've been shopping for a wire set and plugs, I want high quality parts but I'm not planning on racing or anything. So I was planning on the Bosch Platinum +4 (B4418) Spark Plugs, which is my first question... Are those okay? Anything better? Good choice??? etc... I've also come accross the Magnecor ignition wires and I noticed they are available as 7mm, 8mm, and 8.5mm I wanted a red wire set and was planning to go with the 8.5mm. I pose the same questions as I did with the plugs, good? no? Lemme know what you think. I was also curious if anyone knew what the stock wires were? 7, 8, or 8.5mm??? Last question, how do I replace the PCV valve? Thank you guys, you've all been a LOT of help!!!

get the NGK V-groove spark plugs. the 8.5's should be good.

i recon the V grooved NKKs are better than the BOSCH super 4, i think 8.5mm wires are too big for our ignition system so it is better to go with the 8.0mm.

i am not saying the 8.5 is bad but it is too good compared to the stock ignition system so why pay the extra money?? better save it for the intake.

Yeah the plugs I took out were the NGK's, they were all burnt up, I put in the Bosch Platinum +4's and man it made a nice difference!!! I found out the stock wires are 7mm. I'm gonna just put the 7mm Magnecor wires on, I couldn't find red 8mm's and I think the 8.5mm's are too much for what I'm doing so I'll just keep 'em black.

DONT GO ON COLOR! get the 8mm. also the only reason the plugs "made a difference" is that yours were old. get the v-groove. i tried the bosh and i went back to NGK. its just a sugguestion, its your car do with it as you wish, just offering good advise.

I agree, have the excelent results with NGK V-groove. BTW, my Lanos 1,5 SOHC is converted to run on LPG as well, and NGK plugs are only one brand recomended for dual fuel powered vehicles.
