update...
i did pick up the manifold yesterday from the welder and left it at shop. it looks pretty nice. today is a holyday here, so no work. tomorrow may be the first start of the car with the new manifold. i forgot to take pics with my phone camera. tomorrow will get some.

Its finally welded!!!!!! my tuner did use the dremel to soft a bit inside the base of the injectors for a perfect fit, also did it inside the runners for a nice injector clearance
now the flange only needs to be skimed a bit.

one question: if you put on a different flange, will this intake fit a 1.5 SOHC?? will it add more power to it?

So whats the stock intake mani look like? and how exactly is this better. Better design? just smoother? Longer runners?
