DaewooPC
I like cars, and I like computers, so this is what I have done
It's my ultimate in-car multimedia console.
Features:
Music Player - Plays any music file on 200GB hardrive, plays audio CDs as well. Full Equaliser controls, just like a normal pc.
DVD Player, can also play any type of movie file on the hardrive.
7" Touchscreen - Full touchscreen control of PC, will probably be using a nice frontend system soon to make it easier to touch (bigger buttons for music control whilst driving etc).
Satellite Navigation/GPS - Just like a TomTom/Garmin, speed camera locations and warns you of your speed.
Wireless Networking/Internet.
Does anything that your PC does really!
Specs:
2Ghz Celeron Processor (Only a 2Ghz but you can't use anything power hungry)
200GB 3.5 IDE Hard Drive mouted on L brackets with rubber grommets to protect against bumps, and fitted with dual fans for cooling.
Laptop DVD/CD-RW Drive in a USB 2.0 caddy positioned in car dash.
512MB PC3200 RAM
USB 2.0 GPS Unit
USB 2.0 Wireless Satellite Dish for WiFi
Pics:
PC MDF Case in the boot:
Stuff I still need to do:
Mount Satellite Dish for WiFi
Mount GPS Antenna
Put On/Off switch for PC into dash somewhere at the front (It's hidden behind dash at the moment).
*Might I just add I remove valuable parts of the PC when I leave the car, and it is fully alarmed.*

very nice work man
throw in an ECU diagnostic software and OBD II socket with interface and you will get live feed for each and every sensor on the car

I'd really like to do that, I bought a cable off Ebay but can't find software to support it and apparently Daewoo Lanos is ALDL and not OBD ?

there are tons of software on the internet; i am sure a google search will be more than satisfying for you... try to get something that displays the readings in a muli gauge display or so... will be very cool.

you can find many links to the stuff you need at www.mp3car.com
I know they have good help on there but nothing specific to Daewoo's, I'm the first person to have ever completed a DaewooPC (AFAIK) - one person tried but ran out of budget, and I'm sure daewoomofo will be the second
Anyway that's why I asked for specific OBD answers here as it's the best daewoo forum around
