Thats been posted on here before, looks like its a viable solution, but seems more complicated / specalized than just installing a normal turbo.

yeah i've seen similar things like that before. those are the true electronic superchargers since it actually provides more than just 2psi. it would be a bit complicated but not too bad. just a lot of re-wiring and stuff.

For the cost you still would be cheaper to do a starteard turbo, because you still need to control the timing and fuel, plus can you say electrical fire just waiting to happen

This is very nice, but to expansive. Plus you have a lot of weight in trunk.

get new big @$$ alternator
ton of battries
loads of wiring and crap
for how long is it going to be on boost??
how long will it take to recharge??
running cost??
installation hussle??

i don't see the point here... you will do too much in terms of parts, labour and running cost to get so little it will rank forth in the list of "Power Mods" if it is going to be nominated as a power mod

1- turbo
2- supercharger
3- NOS.
4- electrical super charger.

That specific electric s/c is about the only legit one out there,.. but there are things you have to deal with. Like only a 10-15 sec burst and a recharge of anywhere from 10-20mins

The cost for doing an electric s/c is much higher than piecing the parts to do a conventional turbo set-up
