what do you guys think about this turbo ?

i know it came on 300zx 1988-1989 in a 3.0L engine

i had found some specs but im not sure if they are correct



Compressor Stage
Housing A/R: .80
Wheel Trim: 60
Model: TB25
Wheel diameter: 1.66/2.14
Compressor Flow (max, lb/min): 28
Compressor Flow (max, CFM): 405

Turbine Stage:
Housing A/R: .64
Wheel Trim: 62
Wheel Diameter: 1.64/2.09

so can it be good for the 2.2L ?

Just a very quick guess.... that turbo will be decent up to 12psi of boost.

Strange that it was found on the Nissan 3.0L Turbo ( I had an 88 300ZX way back four cars ago )

I would have expected the Nissan to be using a T28 or larger.

T25 turbos are decent.... fairly quick spool up to give you a nice mid range boost in power.

for me thats fair enough for 6-8 psi in this initial setup

for this amout of CFM what fuel upgrades should i make?

keeping budget in mind

i had ask in other forums and they sayd walbro 255lph, a Vortech 12:1 FMU and a pyrometer

if the temps are good and it runs rich, it would work fine

this would be my first time worcking with turbos and i dont spec to build a rocket (for now)
