wanna hear something strange??

so many times i filled up the tank and put some 43 or 44 liters of fuel and the warning light was not on... the warning light should go on if the fuel in the tank was 6 liters or less and the manual says the lanos got 48 liter fuel tank so theoretically the warning light should have came on every time i put more than 42 liters.

wanna hear something even stranger??

i once put 48 liters of fuel and the car was going normaly and didn't suffer any fuel shortage whatsoever... i think the fuel tank is bigger than 48 liters... i hear that on the nexia ir so it is 56 or so... maybe we got the same one.

well, i like the sound of having a larger fuel tank. the last time i filled it to full from it being on the white empty line it only went to 36 litres.

Same here, I bought my woo brand new in Nov.2000 and never EVER seen the low fuel light come on.
Once I even ran out of gas about 50 feet from the pump, and it still never came on!!! And when I pushed her up to the pump I could not pump in anymore than 37 1/2 litres....go figure.

we have success! ... well for an instant anyway...

i was on my way home and was going around a corner/ turn to the left (which seems to last forever - it goes on for about 1/2 mile) and my low fuel light came on for an instant. it faded in to full brightness, and as soon as the car was straight again it faded away. as the car was leaning the fuel must hav all gone to one side (i only had about 2 gallons in the tank) and it flashed... the smile on my face was unbelievable... lol
i'm gona run it a bit more tomorow to see if it comes back on when i go around corners /long turns... or just let it run almost dry. (probly no the best idea tho.)

Sorry to jump in this old thread but I just remind me those two service bulletins regarding fuel level. Don't know if you are concerned about this.
