-- Has anyone tryed a heat gun? I was thinking heatgun at 100 or so maybe would loosen it? I take it theres glue or something which is why you need the water at 100 degrees, but would a heat gun work,, anyone tryed?

The diagram worked perfect for mine. 2004 Suzuki Forenza.
But id recommend leaving it in alot longer. I left it in for abotu 25 mins and I still needed to hit it about 20 times with a hammer to get it off. But it was also only about 85degrees C.

do you NEED a knob that uses lift up reverse system, or can you just leave the lift off part on the bag? I havent taken mine appart but by the looks of it the knob doesnt affect the lift up reverse, it just goes inside for cosmetic reasons, that ring looks to be attached to the bag, I could be wrong but i thought id see for anyone else who tried, I really like my shift knob which ill probably have to take back :P
thanks
Dave
thanks
