I'm ordering new wheels soon but the only color they have in my size is flat black. I want flat black w/ a polished lip. Is there a shop or something/someone that can do this sorta thing?
I've looked for months at new wheels. Seriously more hours than I can count. I can tell you the weight, bolt pattern, and colors available for almost any imported light weight wheel. I finally decided to go with rota slipstreams again. They are both light, cheap, look good, and come in the size I want.
that is the size i have on my car and it was HARD to find a set of rims that looked good and fit. Try looking at Tire Rack or wheel guys, they have hard to find sizes. But if you cant find the 7.5 maybe you should go with 7

I'm not looking for wheels. I just need to knew if you can have somone do a custom machined lip/polished lip after you buy the wheels.
I hate tire rack for some reason. Yeah, 7.5" wide is a pain to find especially with my standards. If I didnt lower my car so much I'd put 8" wide but I rather have a low car.
wow! I found 17x7.5 rota slips for only $440 shipped! Thats insane! they are brand new and everything. Other than this price all my other qoutes have been $640-$800.
Oh ok i understand... but i dont think that anywhere will machine a lip after you have bought the rims. Its done while the rims are apart and sometimes its a difforent metal or its coated with a difforent metal. there is and artical in super street about it that i read but i cant find it. You would probly be better of buying a set with a lip already polished.
Actually these are one peice wheels so it's probably done after the wheel is made.
I found someone to do it for $75 a wheel or less. Kinda expensive considering if they made the wheel like that it's no extra but this is a custom job. I found a insane deal on these wheels and even with the $300 to machine the lip I'm paying what I would normally pay for them.

They barley have any left. Actually this is the last set of this bolt pattern and color. I would just tell you but my friends getting a set I think.
Wait what size do you guys want?
They have a set of 4x100 17x7.5 with +45 offset for about the same price. I think my friend needs 4x108 but I'll double check. The 17x7.5" are the only ones that have that good of a price, all the other sizes are priced the same as anywhere else.
anything if they have it between 14"-16" x7"they have them, and i cannot remember the # if it 100, 108 or what.. but check and see if they have azny in that range, i would like 14" if they had it because i couldn't have to buy diffrent tires.
