Hole in my bonnet.

G'day Guy's.

I'm about to put a pod filter on my Lanos this weekend.
I am thinking of plumbing it inside the original air box but blocking off the cold air feed hole and cutting out a section of the bonnet directly above the airbox and finishing it off with just a grill or stainless mesh mounted on the inside of the bonnet.

My questions are:
Will it draw in enough air without a scoop or might it actually suck air out from under the bonnet.
Has anybody here done it already. if so how
Will I need a metal deflecter above the filter to keep out the rain
Any other ideas.

Putting it in the wheelwell will give you the best results - nice cold air.

ive been defected for a pod filter before so be careful
